Got one for the Gearheads...

I got a 2000 3.0 v6 automatic. Driving home tonight my o/d off light started flashing and from a stop my truck had no balls. it'll usually throw you back in the seat and it would rev out and slooowly start moving. I'd restart the truck and it would be fine. i think it would start flashing when i would slow down from a high speed like when it downshifts. Its got plenty of tranny fluid and 109,000 miles. Thoughts?

it could be the ABS sensor is on the fritz or your tranny is starting to slip but with only 109k it should be fine is it shifting hard or anything odd?

Might need a fluid and filter change.

for about $40 you have have the tranny scanned and they should be able to tell you whatis wrong and a price to fix it..I would guess your tranny is slipping
