Stock radio
I have a stock radio and want to put in a stock ford radio with mp3 for my iPod the only one's I can find are the 6 cd changer ones. If I rip out my radio and put in the mp3 with 6 cd changer will it fit correctly and wire up easily?

Re: Stock radio
I'm confused too. Do you mean AUX input or do you mean it reads MP3 CD's?

Re: Stock radio
The installation is a one time thing, but you'll constantly be using your radio so I wouldn't limit yourself to a stock stereo because of that one reason alone.
If you just like the stock look consider checking out something like this: http://www.fordrangerforum.com/audio...installed.html |
Re: Stock radio
See I like the stock look and I dont use my stereo that much other than 4 presets and I want to be able to plug in an AUX so I can use my iPod. I dont use CD's that much I can find the 6 Cd changer and Mp3 stereo on ebay cheap but I just dont know if it will fit all the wires and be able to just fit directly into my dash or not. I dont have a problem controlling my iPod though my iPod its self

Re: Stock radio
if the ones on ebay you are referring to say 6 disc mp3 that does not mean they are AUX/ipod compatible it just means they play mp3 cd's.

Re: Stock radio
Why not modify the stock radio already in your truck to handle auxiliary

Re: Stock radio
There is a way to bypass but still use the cd player to do it
I did it and it works |
