Re: 2JZGTE Swap
why dont you try a 300 straight 6 swap?

Re: 2JZGTE Swap
I understand being different and all, and please correct me if I'm wrong, but couldn't you build a nice v-8 for the price of this swap?

Re: 2JZGTE Swap
I say to each their own. More power to you if you do it. I think it's dumb, but at the same time it'd be bad ass. Why do the same run of the mill when you can do something different? It's pride in the build and that you have done all that work. Keep us posted what you do

And why not? I probably could build a nice engine for that much, itd be 5-8k after the build was done. But I don't know anything about building motors. If you wanna direct me to that, doitttt. I'll definitely keep youi guys updated as to what I do, |

Re: 2JZGTE Swap
mhm,
Well, I originally planned to do a basic 5.0 swap from a 3rd gen Mustang, but the engine has to be the same year or newer as the vehicle your putting it in, according to colorado law. The Supra engines go fast, 300 straight 6 go fast too? I could put an R34 skyline engine in it. ;p JP7 ; Would that fit? I can't really imagine a V12 fitting, thats why I was leaning towards the 2JZGTE, I know it will fit with minor(ish) modifications. |

Yes it doessss.
Severely, I'll look into the 300 Straight 6, I know skylines are straight 6's, thats what put the thought in my head just now. ;) Well, where would I look into building an engine at? |
