Location of solenoid and starter...where?

Trying to troubleshoot my truck is not starting and in the process figured these 2 could be the culprits. I however have no idea what/where to look for these. Could not find anything worthwhile googling...so hoping someone has some pictures or diagrams they could share.

Thanks.

The starter solenoid can be located under the hood of a car by following the positive (red) cable from the battery, which usually leads directly to the solenoid. Then, the solenoid will have another cable of similar or equal weight which will go down to the starter, which is normally accessed from the bottom of the vehicle. The solenoid will also have a third wire, which comes in from the starter switch. Starter solenoids can also be built into the starter itself, often visible on the outside of the starter.

The yellow arrow points where the starter would be if it were installed:

solenoid is on the drivers side inner fender , between the battery andn the fuse block , the starter is on the drivers side of the engine , you can just see the tail of the starter from the top ,looking down from the drivers side ,
