Just got rid of the rock guard strips, they were nasty.
 

At first you could REALLY tell how the white paint had changed over time, but after rubbing the area with paint thinner for a while it all blended well. :)

As you can see though, they were nasty and old.

With the heat gun, 'bout ten minutes per side.

Lol, my bad guys, Im new to all this stuff. I was actually looking for a Honda Civic, but when I sat in one I felt so smooshed. So, I found a cheap Ranger and snagged it.

are these the rock guards? the other guys pics got deleted^ and i was gonna ask how ya'll are taking these off, as you can see, mine are nasty and really starting to get annoying. im gonna try the heat gun and PLASTIC scraper cause my nails cant take that crap.

Yep. That'll work, but keep something like paint thinner or Goo Gone around to help finish the deal.

cool, i have both of those near by!!! i know the paint thinner is safe but i just cant bring myself to use it on my paint.....
