4 wheel drive

well its winter time and its pretty hard driving in the snow with rear wheel drive, And my 4x4 doesnt work. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to fix the 4x4 on my 1992 ford ranger. Thanks!

I have the same issue, when I turn the dial the light doesn't light and I use to feel when the 4x4 kicked in today it didn't I still slid .

I fixed it! when I put in a stereo the wires from the knob came out!:embarassed:

nothing lights up when i try to push it. i dont hear anything and i dont feel anything
