Few parts being bought, not sure if they fit... HELP PLZ! :)
 

Hey there guys, as I'm new to trucks, I really have no idea if these will fit my truck or not:

I'm looking for a set of black Nerf bars for the sides, and I came across these:

I was also looking for a bull gaurd for the front and I found this:

Will these both fit? I drive a 2004 Ford Ranger XLT. It is the extended cab I believe since it has the fold down seats behind the driver and passenger seats, but it does NOT have the suicide doors.


Thanks in advance! I'm trying to learn more about my truck!

I have my factory step bars I will sell you for $100 + shipping. I guarantee they will fit.

I'm not familiar with aftermarket bars, but I do know that with OEM bars you need a 2-door version for 2-door truck, and vice versa for the 4-door. Since that eBay auction specifically says you need the 4-door I would assume it would not work with your 2-door.

I think the 4 door OEM bars are the same as the 2 door OEM bars.

But if you look halfway down the listing it says "2 door and 2 suicide" doors, but that is the same thing as the 2 door with no suicide isn't it?

2 doors + 2 suicide doors = 4 doors. So no, it's not the same as 2 doors.

2door ext. cab and 4 door ext. cab have different mounting points. PM r0ng5 about it. he fabbed up something to make it work IIRC.

I got in touch with the seller... he said the nerf bars I was looking at are made for the 2 door supercab (extended cab on his listing).... so I bought them... they'll be here in about 10 days.
