Help: Fog light housing is toast
What would cause this to happen?
http://i779.photobucket.com/albums/y...0325101432.jpg Bulb?Harness?Wiring? I dont want to go and buy a new fog housing just to plug in a new bulb and have this happen again. The harness does not look burned up and the wires seem to be ok. I am assuming it was a bad bulb but any suggestions would be appreciated. |
Re: Help: Fog light housing is toast
Were the bulbs stock or HID's?

Re: Help: Fog light housing is toast
Stock. I am thinking now that it just fell loose and the actual bulb burned it. but idk

Re: Help: Fog light housing is toast
Wow, I would have to agree with you. The only other thing I can think of is a short in your bulb. I guess its off the the scrap yard for you. One suggestion though. Plug the bulb from the other side into the harness and test it. Make sure it not your harness. Oh and I just though of this. Make sure your fuse is the right one for the fogs and not a larger amperage. i.e. 20amp in a 10amp spot.

Re: Help: Fog light housing is toast
I just saw a post on halo fogs on ebay. They look pretty nice and the price seems good.

Re: Help: Fog light housing is toast
But are those the same shape as my fogs i thought they might look funny in the factory holes. Got a link to the halo post?
EDIT: just checked those would work for your year but not mine. damn |
