Torsen LSD front diff

Hey

Any Canadians manged to purchase a torsen LSD front diff. I've tried ordering one from Torsen over the phone- Torsen tells me it needs to be done over the web.

So I've tried over the web and the only country listed is the USA...

I've talked to 3 or 4 different people there and the best I get is " i think we ship to canada"

The only option I haven't tried is the send us a cheque... for what amount? They think shipping "might" be $50

I'd really like to add the front LSD to the truck... but Torsen is starting to drive me crazy.

That sucks - Can't help you on the Canadian front, but I would keep asking for someone else on the phone until they knew WTF they were talking about!

Hang in there - It's worth it, I love having mine!

Well... it took a long time. But I finally got the name of someone inside Torsen that would be able to help me.

Talked to Christine today and an hour later I was finally able to order a front T-2 for the truck

:D

So if you're a Canadian getting the run around.. dial Torsen and ask for Christine (she's there on Mon and Wed)

Nice. I think that is the best option for our trucks. I was going to get one until I got a whole axle that already had an Aussie locker up front.

Sorry to bring up a old thread but how do you like driving with this in the winter? It's the only thing holding me back I do a lot of winter snow road driving and still want to be able to steer.

Steering is slightly stiffer, but honestly it's barely noticeable. Having said that I'm running a skinny 32" (235/85/16) tire so that probably helps.

It's one of the mods on my truck that I would definitely do again.

Everyone who has it seems to love it, what was the final price to get it to your place of you don't mind me asking?
