paint job help

hey im looking to repaint my truck. and was wondering if i post a picture on here if someone can take it and photo shop diffferent paint jobs? i have some i have bin thinking bout. going to have my buddy do it. he works at macco. was thinking ether back to the factory red. or red up top black at the bottom-maybe from the bed down. or orange and black. all black or a blue. any ideas are welcome. thanks people.

I would suggest Putting it back to factory red (I'm assuming its oxidized)and paint the bumper or find an stx bumper and paint it to match. Changing colors is tough to do, if it's done right. And if you're going to lower it, I'd like to see a monochromatic look to it...inside and out. So, steer away from a 2-tone. One color is cheaper to do anyway. Don't paint those rims, btw. They're ugly no matter what color they are. My first ranger had those rims til I came across a set of XLT rims. My first ranger was also base as you can get, like yours.
(1990 model) It was the best truck on the road in those days...I'm sure it still is too, where ever it may be.

yea if i do i think ima paint the red agian..but i still dont have the money. i was told buffing the paint wil fix the color...well some. and i would like new rims...but just got new tires and dont have the money for everything. and nice. i love my truck...just everything is going rong now..so its constintly costing me money.

My '90 had real bad oxidation too. I used the turtle wax with red tint and all kinds of other wax to try and bring back the red. I finally tried something that worked awesomely! It's not designed for paint. In fact. this brand didn't even have any paint products when I used it. They had only tire stuff then. I used Black Magic tire shine...the squeeze bottle stuff that smells like cherries. It made my truck look freakin sweet! It didn't last long at all, however. but, you can do that to your truck and feel good when you look at, at least til it rains. Try it and see what you think. Just do one panel and see what it does.

you can buff that, if it very oxidized you will need a heavy compound and a wool pad, but I would leave it to a professional. On the other hand... if you post some pictures of stuff you want done, I can photoshop them for you.

thanks guys. she is starting to cost me to much money so idn how much longer im going to have her.
