Default Shrink a picture

I am trying to put my own custom picture on my radio. It has to be a bmp file.

The dimensions have to be 640 X 375 and has to be in MB file size.

Every time I crop it down and then save it as a bmp it is then in KB

Can anyone help me?

Here is the picture.

Have you tried saving it in a higher resolution... like 600dpi?
That should make a larger file size while maintaining the smaller image size.
Maybe save it as a high resolution jpg & convert it back to a bmp??

I can’t view the image on my computer
What software are you using? Are you cropping it to the size or resizing it? You should be able to resize the image to 640 x 375 then just save it as a BMP. As stated higher resolution will give you a larger file size.
