Paint ideas, paint my truck!

Thinking about painting my truck. Would like to do a two tone thing, not sure exactly how yet.
Maybe somethign like this:


or doing a half and half thing with orange bottom dark gray top, and combine it with a painted dome to match the bottom?

Colors I am thinking are sunset orange as the main color:


and some kind of dark silver/gray/gunmetal or something.

Just play with whatever you want, dont need to do the topper but you can. maybe also have the tailgate the gray color or do something with it. Maybe a stripe across the tailgate in gray that lines up with the tail lights.

i vote to do DSG from the little top styleline up. so basically the whole top of the truck (hood and all) will be DSG

i could maybe dig that, kinda picture that looking better lowered, but i could be wrong. some body 'shop it!

also... i'm assuming DSG is for dark silver gray? haha

oh that sounds better... yeah sounds like what i'd want. do you think the orange would look good, or maybe stay with a blue like I have for the bottom? (maybe go to vista blue!)
I really like sunset orange, my dad used to have a camaro that color. just might be a little much for my truck.

this is all speculation right now, i'm just thinking... so won't be too soon I paint it. ha

if you were to do the sunset orange, paint the whole truck that solid color. then do the hood similar to the first pic you posted in dsg.. i think that would be the tits.

that could definitely work... also how about the whole thing sunset orange, with dsg stripe in the middle from the body line above the door handle to the line on the rockers, and all around the tailgate like that?

looks good, both of them. the first orange one stole my heart i think...
FX4, would it be too much to ask for that angle with orange bottom, gray on top, and orange dome? basically top half gray with orange dome on what is gray now. that would be awesome if I could see how it looks.
