Potential Vinyl Decals
I was browsing through J.C. Whitney's brush guard section and came across this cool Ranger. . . . . .
. . . . . .and thought that a similar decal setup would look good on my truck. After a little photoshoping, I came up with this:
I added the red wheels just because I thought it would look good with the red decals. I might have an automotive graphics place make this up into some kind of vinyl decals, and the wheels could be powder coated red. So, FRF, just let me know what you think of it.

Re: Potential Vinyl Decals
Yeah Id say a darker red maybe and I think the red wheels could be alil to much, maybe if they had a red lip or something alittle more suttle

Re: Potential Vinyl Decals
It looks great on the truck... But the red rims make it look very jurassic parkish.

Turn your Saturation and lightness down in photoshop to make it look more realistic

maybe it's just me, or the "silent majority" have yet to read this thread... but, frankly, I think that looks hideous.

Thanks for your feedback but I have to respectfully disagree.
I think it looks good IMHO, but I do admit the red wheels may be a little much.

Re: Potential Vinyl Decals
try to find like a torchfire red or something realy candyish and dark shade wise and then get black rims with a small red lip on it i think that would look good
oh and i wouldnt do it on the roof personally but thats just my opinion and i would keep it dark where the line on the powerdome is
oh and i would try to mess with the graphic and make it one of a kind
well theres my two cents

Re: Potential Vinyl Decals
Thanks for all of the feedback, and I appreciate everyone's opinions. I added a poll so it will be a little easier to see which direction the majority is leaning towards.

Re: Potential Vinyl Decals
I think the only way it would look good is if the decals were flat black, or like a graphite color... just 2 cents

Re: Potential Vinyl Decals
Try a chop where the decals are DSG, aka graphite colored. I think That would look way better, and leave the roof alone.
I personally think it would be god awful with red decals like that.

Thats a really good idea, thanks! I like the idea of flat black decals. It might look something akin to the flat black "mud" decals on a black Ford Raptor.
That gives me a crazy idea, I wonder how a Ranger Raptor would look, or if it would look right once finished. Maybe have a similar F O R D grille on the front? I need to do some photoshoppin' !
