Unfortunately it's an auto. But I am thinking about dropping an Allison in when it goes

That would be awesome. The only thing is a stock Allison cost the same as a built 48re
----------
I have driven all kinds of diesels and that 6 cylinder cummins out pulls my uncles 7.3 every time. It blows my mind how a 6 cylinder out does a v8

Re: Rims
# of cylinders doesn't mean anything if the output is higher and the driver is better.

Lol very true. The 7.3s have plenty if power but don't have the get up and go like the cummins. You can lug a cummins but have to stay in the pedal with a power stroke

the opposite of the is true actually haha
cummins have better low end torque then the duramax or power stroke because it's a online motor
the duramax and power stroke will always make more horse power and will launch off a line faster
But it's a freaking Diesel truck not a race car it was made to tow and haul stuff not to go fast

Fords 4.9 300ci inline 6 was like that in my 88 f150. Then I built that to 306ci then swaped a 347stroker.
