Default Need Some Photoshop Assistance

I am thinking of making a old school tailgate badge for my Ranger and was wondering what it would look like. Thanks!

Here is the tailgate.

Here is the badge.

If I could Photoshop I would. But I can give reccomendation.if I were you I would recess an area of the tailgate slanted on the edges about 2 in wider than the plate and 8 in taller than the plate just so it has the styling more of the older pickups.

I'm maybe planning on buying a 3d magnetic emblem that can be removed if desired. Thanks for your info, but I don't have a clue on how to recess the tailgate.

Just cut a hole the side u want. Measure out 2in and in each corner cut 2in at 45° fold the sides and top in at an angle and weld the caps. Then take a price of metal cut it to the side of the opening and weld it in. Do your finishing body work, paint and attach ur tailgate trim. Done and lookin sweet.

Thanks Mark,I have been tossing it around for awhile and like I said it would be magnetic so it can easily be removed if wanted.
