Macro water shots.

That is pretty wild how you can see the water separate from the aerator.

Its a Nikon D3000 But just about any camera can do that. Its called Macro setting

for those of you that watch mythbusters.... see if your "urination stream" is like the water in that pic... split into individual drops or all together. from the leeking on an electric railroad myth.

Most deff set it on macro and put ur lens focus on auto and take a shot at it.

i dont think the d40 has macro... most SLRs do not. in order to do macro shots, you have to have a special lens.

the way around spending a bunch of money on a lens, is to take the stock 18-55mm lens, and turn it around, and hold it uo to the camera body.use the manual focus / zoom to get the desired distance from the obejcetive, then move the camera back and forth to focus it... works pretty well for me.

another thing you can do is stand a few feet back, and zoom in really far, but again, you may want it on manual focus. have the apereture as wide open as possible to get the fast shutter shutter speed

haha, its all good. Ive taken a few photography classes, not something i would expect a lot of people to know lol.

I guess you could say that they do have a macro setting (the flower) but again, its what the focusing capabilities of the lens are.

Yea I always set mine on the flower and then also set the lens on manual
