I bought an old Minolta 1.7 50mm prime for 34.00 on ebay. and a 28-75 F2.8 for 25.00 gotta love being able to use all the minolta lens's on the Sony Alpha's!

Steve....the body's are different sized. I can tell immediately whenever I take possession of your D90. lol. My 60 feels like a toy after holding your 90 both with weight and bodysize.

OH! DUH! I was thinking the D40.. my bad. Still, SLR's are a PITA to have as carry-arounds.
EDIT: Hold my D700.. that thing makes mine feel like a toy lol.. suckers HEAVY!

Be sure when you buy the lenses, that they are the DX Series lenses for Nikon, cause if they are FX, they wont work well with the pro cameras (Currently D700 and up)
