Cool pics Pat. But for that Christmas tree I think you need a tripod and raise your ISO up to atleast 800.

Thanks Dan. I picked up a tripod from a guy at work so I can play around with that a bit. I had a hard time shooting the LED lights on my tree, they put off such a glare. Id like to try some regular incandescent lights

They look good Pat especially for a newbie. I have been using a ND4 Neutral density filter for my Christmas lights

I didn't even think to use a ND filter while shooting Christmas lights. I'll do some more in a while.
