Re: Picture of the Day!
Try another shot with the flashes out of view of the lens. Maybe in line with the camera or slightly forward of the camera but out of the view of the lens and see how that does.
Good experiment though which I've been wanting to try someday.

Re: Picture of the Day!
I don't as of yet have a lens wide enough (10mm or less) to get colser to the house and still get the whole house and yard. I used a 17mm lens on a APS-C 1.6 sencer that being said at that distance (across the street) the flashes would not iluminate the house. I was also testing the distance I could separte the camera form the flashes. this pic was about 75 feet apart. had to position the flashes just right so all four would flash and at the same time. I could tilt the camera up a bit more without getting distortion and move the flashes back a bit but I don't think it would be out of frame. I also photoshoped the flashes out, but couldn't get rid of the light flash and still look right.

Ah, gotcha! I thought about moving closer also. Maybe two flashes on stands to either side of you would produced better results. Just a thought. I love to try stuff like this.
One time I went to a meeting with a professional photographer where his assigment was to photographed the entire antrium, hall way and up a set of stairs of a house. He used 10 flash units to achieve the results he wanted. I was impressed as the photo looked great!

Taken with my Shitty 1.3 mega pixel phone camera. I miss my D3000 and it sucks cause I won't have the money to get it fixed for a while.

It's not auto focusing. I thought it was the settings but it's not. And when I look through the view finder it's a lot darker than outside. And I hated to even post that pic cause I can take a damn good photo. When your used to Raw photos and you go from a Dslr Raw format to a fucking phone camera jpg It's a disgrace.

I left the camera out in the truck over night and it got moisture and condensation in it. And it hasn't took a good picture since. It wont auto focus and sometimes the red indicator light won't show up. And also it will say for the shutter speed LO and across the top it will say subject is too dark. I even try to fix the settings to make it lighter, and still it says too dark.

Sucks about the lens.

Re: Picture of the Day!
I never get the "Subject is too dark" and I almost ALWAYS shoot in Aperture Priority. that or manual.
