First time out lake fishing (always fast water for me), spent a week out at Francois Lake. Caught a 9 1/4lb char, beat the boyfriend by 2 lbs, he was not impressed lol.

I didn't mind it, the weather was shitty all week and the fishing was really hit and miss. We think the lake was still turning, the surface temp was all over the place everyday, and the water was really high with quite a bit of debris. The beer made it all good though lol.
Still think I prefer my fast water fishing, keeps me a lot busier....
