I got out in my float tube for a bit of bass action. got some on a spro bronzeye frog, and some on a ribbit buzzing frog around pads and coontail mix. I tried the usual pattern of pitching a jig and pig at the floating cattail bogs with no success. it appears the water has gone down quite a bit in the dry month of August, and it was now not deep enough to hold bass.

I put my gopro cam on a cooler lid and left it in the lily pads, then backed off and cast towards it while it was on continuous shooting every 2 seconds...

my secret is going to a lake that does not allow any harvest of fish. then the bass that are stupid enough to hit a rubber frog are thrown back to play again instead of ending up in a greasy pan!

ah....i see! ive fished in a catch and relase lake a few times, there is a little difference between others lol they hit harder haha
