I have not got out too much, I don't like fishing when it is hot out. I did finally get out for some bass last Saturday in my kayak, and this sunday in the float tube on a west metro area lake, I got a few nice ones, one maybe 4 pounds, all flipping a jig n pig around a floating cattail bog.

nice fish man! ill have to try those.

you ever use a fly rod and poppers? thats fun for bass and panfish

NICE! I just caught a decent large mouth out at a lake called wagon train. Though I agree, I hate fishing when its too hot.

Yes I have got some on poppers, I make my own out of foam.

nice! thats cool. i actually got into fly fishing stuff by tying flys. never used most of them but still fun. the ones ive used the most are crappie jigs
