Some people identify them with Super, because the manufacturer used the same front end, that it was attached to the body of the car, the 1970 and earlier models the front end was a part of the chassis, that you could take the body off the chassis and the rolling chassis would stay complete. But the true Super Beetle is a little longer than the Beetle, that's why the curved windshield!!!!

Mods: plastidipped grill and header panel, Throttle cable mod, aftermarket projector headlight and corners, Alpine CDA-105 Headunit, 2 MTX TS82 8" subs in trick boxes, strobe lights on front of truck. K&N drop in filter, 2.5" exhaust after catalytic converter to a Thrush Welded muffler, pipe exits at stock location.

I had a feeling it was....darn it.
