really grainy

What ISO u have it set on

The white part of the flower is blurred that should be the main focus

Care if I post a flower shot?

sure.. icr what the iso was .. im thinking 300 maybe..
the flower was pure white.. nothing on the inside..

The lower the ISO the less grainy it will be

This was shot MACRO with a ISO of 80

Since it is white you should adjust some settings like the white balance

yeah im a nooblet when it comes to camera stuff.. i was using just a reg lense..

how close were you to the flower?

We just got (3) new D700's at work with the 200mm zoom lenses. I suppose I should go play with one tomorrow and see what I can do. The thing has more buttons and knobs than the ****pit of an airplane.
