Default Hawaii Vacation (Not 56K friendly)

These are all the pictures I have taken from the time I left Springfield, Mo. Saturday morning till Tuesday evening. Still have a shark dive tomorrow. There will be a few pictures added from a dive I did Monday. I got the pictures put onto a cd but this mini laptop does not have a cd drive.

Here is when we took of in Springfield. 394 mph. We actually got up to 500mph once we reached 32K feet

After landing in Dallas then had to rush to catch next plane. Here is Texas Motor Speedway.

Arriving in Los Angles. I believe the pilot said this was Big Bear Mountain. It was right after we passed over River Side.

Leaving LA very nice scenery from above of the coast line.

Sunset over the Pacific Ocean 3 hours into a 5 hour flight.

Finally made it into Hawaii at 9pm local time. 1am CST. I had gotten up at 3:40 Saturday morning. Time I got to bed at 11 Hawaii time I was ready for bed.

Me getting my snorkel on. Best thing to do IMO I have done it everyday in the morning. It is like being in a aquarium. The water is so freaking clear.

Part of the resort we are staying at. Turtle Bay resort.

We rented a car. We decided to drive down to Honolulu to see what was going on there.

They have a HUGE pineapple plantation ran by Dole. I dunno how many acres it is but it is miles long.

Some pineapples growing.

Once we got back we decided to walk on the beach. They have 7 miles of shore line. We didnít walk it all.

Something I am familiar with seeing.

We had a helicopter ride scheduled it was AWESOME

View of the resort. The cove in the bottom of the picture is where I have been snorkeling.

US military radar site. Was the radar site which played a major role on Dec.7th 1941

Motor cross track and a off road park for truck and atvís

Went back down to Honolulu to have dinner with the wifeís boss. Some pictures on the way there.

Double rainbow all the way. You cant really see it in the pictures.

Woke up Tuesday morning and while sitting on FRF it rained for about 2 minutes. I looked out the balcony window and saw the end of this rainbow.

We then went to Pearl Harbor. Very cool place to go.

More pictures in Wiakiki

Thanks guys.
Definatly a trip I wont ever forget. Best part was Pearl Harbor.
If I never see another rainbow I will be okay. I have seen so many freaking rainbows here, and they totally blow away any rainbow Missouri can produce. The pictures dont do them justice.

Nice pics!! Did you take the kids or just the two of you??

Also how do you know what out your window on the plane? Most flights I've been on the pilot doesn't point much out... It'd be cool if there was an app or something....

Every flight we took the Pilot came over and announced anything interesting. When arriving in Dallas he pointed out Cowboy stadium.

The pilot from LA to Hawaii also would come on every so often to announce the turbulance issues. It was a bumby ride

When we went by Dog the Bounty Hunters. We were told depending on what time we go there the road beside his shop which is where you can park. Would be closed around 5 to prevent tourist from blocking the road.

We found out later he was not even in the office he was on the Hilo island looking for someone.

The rental vehicle we had was a blueish chevy suburban like he drives. A couple time some people were yelling at us. Had we had 1 more behind us we could have really messed with them

Been between 75 and 80 everyday. Not that humid either not as humid as Missouri gets. This morning it was 62 and the locals had jackets on.
