Re: some of my pictures. need critisim
I like this one alot, its a cool shot
I'd try focusing on the logo more, or I'd give the macro setting a try here if you have it
Really like this one
This one's by far my favorite but WATCH YOUR FINGER NEXT TIME lol

Re: some of my pictures. need critisim
I’m not a pro, but I would (not sure what camera and software you have)
I picked a few to comment on but over all they look good (#5 ?) in comp, subject matter and what not.
#1) looks like you shot through a window? (reflection shadows) High ISO? lots of noise (reduce the noise level then see if you can pull some detail back) maybe support your camera more on a tripod, wall, table ect.. movement blur without the added camera shake.
#3) focus on or remove the stick
#6) x2 on the emblem - same position just focus on the emblem then recompose to get the grill in the foreground
#7) tree white balance fix should make it look more natural, clear focus looks like it was on the chair not the tree.
#8) the barn looks to be leaning back and to the left. Software perspective fix or move the camera up and point it down a bit to keep the foreground.
#9) finger (crop)
Check your focus points before you shoot. set focus then recompose the shot helps this or go manual focus if your camera allows. Check for stray light from all around – camera will pick up glare from almost everywhere there is stray light.
This is my opinion and just my opinion.

Re: some of my pictures. need critisim
practice on ur focus (manual focus is the best way to learn), white balance (cool or warm), iso (how much light you let into ur camera), aperture (how clear or blurry your background is going to be..better known as your f stop, the lower the f stop the blurrier the background)
example of low aperture(didnt take this foto)

Re: some of my pictures. need critisim
Blurred images- One of the biggest reasons for blurred images are caused by too slow of a shutter speed. A good rule of thumb is what ever your focal length on your lens, you should at least double that in shutter speed. I.e., you have a 100mm lens, you should at east 1/250th of a second.
For the 1st image I guess you were trying to have the stop sign in focus and allow the moving truck to blur by. What you would need to do on a shot like this is to put your camera on a tripod, pre-focus and then set focus on manual and then trip the shutter when te truck goes by. Looks like you hand held the camera.
On some of the others your focus was off (the ford emblem) I actually have to run out but you can look at some of my pics http://medinaphotography.blogspot.com and if you want to PM me questions I will get back to you (allow a few days for me to answer though)
