Do You Always Take Your Camera With You?
When you head out to your Ranger do you always take your camera with you or just on photo shoots?
I just spent the past few hours looking a all the nice photos in this forum and get the impression that most of you do indeed take your camera when you go out.
I only take mine when I do photo shoots but there are many times I wished I had my camera with me. Photo opts can happen at any time!

I don't usually take my camera with me but I always have my cell phone and it takes decent pictures

i keep my nikon point and shoot in my glovebox next to the 9mm.

Cell phone camera FTW. I keep my camera in the glove box but most of the time I use my phone for pics. Honestly my Droid X takes better pics than my Sony Cybershot lol.

not normally, but I am going to start. I have seen too many places that should have been on a picture.

it stays in the truck if i find a good place to snap a shot i stop and take a pic

I take my camera out at night when I go in. But my tripod stays in the truck 24/7 and useually when I do go out driving, yes I do have my camera with me. A good photographyer always carries his/her equipment with them at all times.

i have my 8.0 megepixel cell phone cam with me everywhere lol never know when u need to call someone or take a nice pic

I also have a Nikon point / shoot I could carry in the glovebox. My DSLR is a Nikon D300 with a few lens. I'm not leaving that in the truck for sure.

Very true! The other week I came out of a restruant to see a hand painted yellow yota with extra hardware mounted on it. It even had a drawer pull on the hood to open it with! LOL! Missed shot! Another missed one is when I came out of wal-mart to find a Ranger identical to mine parked nearby. The only difference was his was a manual.

Good idea! I plan on carrying my small point / shoot with me when I go out. If I'm going out to shoot I'll carry my D300.

Very true. I've already had my tripod in the truck a time or two but that's all will fit in my std cab Ranger! LOL!
Interesting that some of you are content with taking pictures with your cell phone. Some of them do take good photos.

Yep, my two canons are always brought along , just never know when I need them or one might not work. I am a pictaholic I guess. mabye I should have them permenantly attatched to my body hehe

my cell phone takes amazing pics and well i would love to get a fancy cam but no way could afford one i have the sprint evo 4G cell phone it still amazes me with the kinda pics it takes

Use whatever works, you always have your phone with you, so you are ready.
your truck running over subcompacts and stuff are amazing pics with any camera haha
