polarizer filter

I got my B+W polarizer filter today so I took a few shots just to compare to non filter... nothing fancy, but you can def. see a difference.

that's the idea! lol, it just takes the reflection out of glass/water/etc. and creates better color contrasts. I have another cobra to detail on saturday so I'll def. use it then

I just got a circular polarizer for my D5000. Haven't used it yet. Went to DC a day later took a nice pic of the capitol. It would have been great to have then. Instead what I got was a nice washed-out pic of the capitol that I had to fix with an image editor that left the darker areas of the pic with a loss in detail. Oh well. I only live a few minutes from DC so I guess I can go back any time.
I can't wait to use mine now. I can notice quite a difference in your pics.

I played with one saturday when I got my neutral density filter and I was amazed by it.

was the one you were playing with adjustable? It's kinda cool to be able to turn it on the camera lens to get the different degrees of effect

No the one I put on my camera was not adjustable. I cant afford the cool ones.
It was 35.00 the other one was 120

what size lens do you have? I paid like $40 for mine, and I was told B+W is a great brand, it's not the most expensive one from them, but still adjustable
