Mike, anyone can go storm chasing! just watch your area on weather.com radar and when it looks like storms are coming near, grab your camera and go.
Just don't get too close to them though, hate to see that shiny blue truck on its roof, in a tree, or pelted with baseball sized hailstones

Cool Adam, thanks for posting the pic. they have really big storms down there! We had a few good rains today but nothing pic worthy. we had a severe T-storm warning out this afternoon, but it was 40 miles north and I already had over 200 miles on my truck today. and though it was ready for more, I was too tired to go chasin hehe

hehe, as long as I am in my Ranger, love the lightning! I don't know exactly why, but I have never heard of anyone being killed by lightning while in a car or truck.
