Exclamation WTF! Aviation

So I go to school for aviation maintenance and engineering Currently only have my Airframe license and working on getting my powerplant. At school and out on the job I get to see alot of dumb shit people do and fly with and I thought I would share some of this here with you for fun.

In these pictures, its a Piper Apache empennage damage underneaths the vertical stabilizer. The Pilot continued to fly this aircraft with the damage until his annual came up.

He pushed the tail into the back or his hanger when storing the aircraft for the winter. That's why when I move my planes I use spotters!

What a numbnuts. You think its bad seeing what people like that have physically done to their plane, just wait till you get up in the sky and see how they FLY and talk on the radio.

A few years ago, some idiot in a Piper Arrow was parked in front of the fuel pumps at SNC, and decided not to use the hot start procedure. Instead he primed the hell out of it and turned his plane into a flame thrower in front of the pumps. Good thing nobody was standing near him, and ge freaked out the poor lady in the office. Two weeks later, Roger Ramjet decided to load his arrow over gross and do an intersection departure instead of full-length. His headwind died just as he lifted off, the plane settled back onto the run way, and he overran through the fence into the trees. It was a lovely arrow until he turned it into scrap metal.

Last year another numbnuts crew of a G550 decided it was too much effort to circle-to-land so they decided to land downwind. They stopped the 35 million dollar aircraft with the nose wheel between the end lights. The tug had to drive into the grass to hook up to it.

You know that they can teach a monkey to fly but it takes an A&P to fix it. You will be amazed what pilots will do. I don't work in the industry any more but still hold my A&P certification.

I went to school to get my commercial pilots license and instructor rating first finished that and then looked back on it. Not a waste of money but I have not flown anything above a old DC-3 a buddy of mine owns. I dick around in a Piper J-3 Cub or a Pitts S2A my dad owns. All the guys I went to school with where just in it for the glory and pick up chicks. I decided I wanted to be a A&P after graduating and started on that now I want to engineer engines so more school ahead. Plus I get laid more being a mechanic then I would pulling the pilot shit. =P

Just a shot in the dark that the engine did not run with the shattered piston flopping around inside it??
