Re: Non-Automotive Photography Contest #10 Submissions
I was not able to use my D300 as it doesn't have macro. Used my point & shoot which shoots JPG's on macro. Needless to say I was lost without a RAW file! Lol!

Re: Non-Automotive Photography Contest #10 Submissions
you don't need a "macro" setting, just open your lens all the way to get the blur in the background, zoom in to get your close subject as big as you need, focus and click.

Re: Non-Automotive Photography Contest #10 Submissions
So even though the tittle says Macro Nature shot it can be just a nature shot? It doesn't have to be set on Macro?

Huh? What makes you think that? No, it needs to be a macro shot.
Using the macro setting is the easiest way to do it, but if you can take a macro shot manually then more power to you.

Re: Non-Automotive Photography Contest #10 Submissions
That's fine as is. I meant "macro" the term, not "macro setting"
Just looking for close up nature shots vs full landscapes.
