Hi guys I am new here I am thinking of buying a 2005 2.5 deisel wildtrak could someone tell me what horsepower they are and what it would be like on fuel.

You must be referring to the European models...

The 2.5 has 145 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque

Yeah, I read an article about that. I think Ford is nuts for not doing it, some of the newer diesel fuel cars they're producing get extremely good fuel economy. The reason that they indicated is because of the perception of the general population about diesel fuels.

yeah, but up around here(WA/ID) that perception of diesels has grown exponetially over the last couple years. Most everyone i know love diesels... maybe its just around here though.

as for your stats, no clue on the horses, but i if its a 4x4 i would anticipate ya on getting about 25-30 mpg with that diesel depending on driving habits and such.
