Default Whistling when accelerating

Not or trade. Got a problem and there wasn't a prefix for that.
Did a long drive to Wales a few weeks ago (650-700 miles), since then it has made a loud whistling from the engine. The noise is coming fom the area of the engine bay that has the turbo and air intake. I have taken the intake to pieces thinking it might be the MAF sensor, but there wasn't one. Couldn't see any cracks all holes in any of the hoses either. One hose was a little loose but tightening it didn't change anything. I have no loss of power and still runs smoothly but the noise is staring to worry me a bit as I haven't got a clue where it might be coming from. Previously you could hear a very faint whistle from the turbo when it was running as I have heard on many other turbo diesels that I and friends have owned, but this is different. Once over 3000-3500 rpm and travelling over 40-50 mph it seems to stop. Anyone got any ideas?

pal, visit the "Introduce Yourself" section, so we can know a little bit more about you and your truck.

Also post on the right section, "classifields" as the title says, is for buying, selling or trade stuff only.

Thanks. Why do you think it is doing it now when it has never done it before?

Things changed with time the turbo may now be broken in or the turbo rpms might have gone up. All normal stuff
