im looking at a 2000 ford ranger and it needs a header panel. is that bad?

a header panel isn't engine related.... it's body/exterior related.

It's an easy swap and a fairly cheap piece to buy. It's what the grille and headlights attach to. 4 or 8 bolts(can't remember) and it's outta there.

If it needs a header panel, it's likely that it needs a grille and headlights and corners....maybe fenders.
