Default Turbo 4.0 ohv?

What turbo would you all recomend on using on a 4.0 v6 ohv? What turbos work best within it's powerband. How much boost could I.. kind of.. safely run? Thank you very much.
I'm pretty much a newbie when it comes to forced induction.. hah

It would need to be small and boost no more then 3-5

You are really risking blowing it apart without having all the right internals.

should be fine at 5-8psi of boost, of course you will have to modify fuel system, bigger injectors and rising rate fuel pressure regulator, and a programmer ..... but besides the point, have fun cramming all that under the hood

There was a guy on another ranger site. He had a super charger. he had it at 7psi. Well he last I knew was not driving the ranger. With the same engine in it.

Hah. Alrighty. I figured it'd prolly need some relatively extensive internal mods before it can take on forced induction. I'm leaning toward a 5.0 swap in the longrun. I was just wondering if it would be worth it to blow a grand or so on a turbo setup for now and sell it all later. Anyway. Thanks all!
