4WD, Turbo, Bore, Stroker?
So I mostly want to start with putting the 4WD drive train on my 02 B2300. Would I need to replace my transmission? and anything suspension? and what would be the cost (-ish) to do this?
I also want to bore the engine, and get a stoker kit with much higher quality pistons and rods, where would I look to for that?
thanks,

By the time you do all that, you could've spent the money buying a 4.0 4X4 Ranger, and kept the 4cyl 2wd for a daily driver. It can be done, but not worth the money unless you find a wrecked donor vehicle for the entire drive train, cause you're gonna need it all, from the transmission to the axles to the springs. And then you're gonna want more than a 4 banger to move it.
Now, about stroking and boosting your motor, first off, no stroker cranks currently available for that motor. You could get it offset ground and run custon rods, and that would get you a little stroke. Also, no overbore pistons currently available. Once again, you could probably over bore it, re-sleave it, and get a bit more there. There are aftermarket lower compression pistons avalable, designed with turbos in mind, but that is where the turbo aftermarket stops for the RWD platform. So a turbo system would have to be custom made, starting with the exhaust manifold, and ending with the tune. It can be done, but how much do you want to spend. With enough money, you can put a blown BBC in a Honda CRX.
If you want to offroad, it'll be cheaper to find a truck to do it in, than it would to convert yours. If you wanna be fast, spend the time and money to turbo it, and leave it 2wd.

^damn... ok. lol how else would I look to squeeze out more hp from this engine though?
Like exhaust, intake, injectors, stuff like that, will I see a difference?
And can my truck be tuned?

Yes, you can tune it, I am tuned, and let me tell you, it's a huge difference. Check out Bamachips.com and get a SCT X-cal3. It comes loaded with 3 tunes of your choosing, and then you can tweek on them from there.

the frame between a 4x4 and a 2wd is different too... basically its virtually impossible to convert a 2wd to a 4x4 without some SERIOUS fabrication, and yes you'd basically have to gut 2/3 of your drivetrain, and front suspension on top of the frame differences

Alright I'll check it out. But first I'm going to talk to my friend Ken, the website has escaped me, I'll post it later, but he's just made his fortune by coding the platform for all GM stock chips, but obviously he knows his way around performance.
Everyone tells me a tune is the best mod you can do.

I recommend Bamachips, 'cause they are the most experienced with the Ranger platform, but anybody can tune it, and if you want the best, go get a custom dyno tune done.
