Default Turbo Simulators

has any one used these on a ford ranger do you like the way they sound or what, do they sound real

One of my friends ordered one and put it on their car. but it was a hyundai accent I think. Either way he said he really loved it and he drove around all day, it sounded real but then it fell off on the interstate haha.

I would imagine the turbo sound or effect by itself should sound the same no matter what you put it on

i tried one and it was on my 98 2.3 ranger sounded like an exhaust leak, a faint whistle nothing like my turbo truck

so you guys want your trucks to sound like a turbo but still be slow? not criticizing, just a little confused.... it's like lifting a 2 wheel drive truck and putting 35" tires to go off-roading...
