Cool Speed limiter help!

my desert race truck has the normal speed limiter at 95. it has alot left in it but the motor just stops putting out due to electrical limiter of some sort. i would like to know if there is a chip availible to surpass this. or something else that i can do. please please help. it is a great inconvenience when i take my BAJA truck drag racing(it looks funny but shocks people when the front wheels come up. ,)

Most aftermarket chips or programmers allow changing or removing the speed limter.

My Superchips tuner has the option to raise the speed limiter and a few other nifty features, but I only reccommend using a tuner that doesn't support custom tuning if you're running virtually stock.

nice ranger. A tuner or Programmer will bypass the Governor. I would think a person with your kinda truck would know that ahah

SCT SF3. Buy one of those. I had a superchips, and while nothing wrong with it, I think the SCT is a better product. Especially if youre planning to build the engine, they can write custom tunes and load them into the tuner. One stop shopping, cheaper than most Superchips. Topspeedparts.com.

Pretty much.

OH! One more thing..... did you ever recalibrate for the 4.51 gears or the 35" tires? I'm guessing not, and that will also kill your top end. It may be an indicated 95, but more like 83. Any of the aformentioned tuners recalibrate your computer for the tire/gear combo you have.
