So since ford makes diesel rangers in europe, why can we just bolt one in a domestic one(im in canada) ? would it be an extensive process? it would seem to me that it would literally bolt and and require very little to any mod. Yes? No? can anyone confirm, deny, or expand on this please?

I doubt you could. Their trucks are not identical to ours. I would say you would need the transmission also.
Then finding one may be hard and then shipping one from South America to Canada not cheap

Closet's you could come to one would be Mexico

not to mention it probably wont even make to the states due to the EPA laws. it will probably get turned around at customs and sent right back.
