Does anyone know where to locate a supercharger for a 3.0L? its going in 2005 edge...just curious if anyone has seen or knows where the can be bought

I know of one for the Duratec 3.0 but I doubt that would fit. Sorry.

Lipil makes an awesome reliable supercharger for the 3.0! bout 800 bucks but its scoots like a motha!

wait really? they sell them here in my town, we have a whipple here, thats to bad. I almost bought a truck a few months back with one on it, test drove that shit, god damn its fast

I bought a home made kit that mounted the super charger off to the side of the motor, and directed "funneled" and air flow from the bottom of the super charger directly into the intake.
To supplement the surp. drive belt, an additional pulley was bolted onto the end of the 2.9L harmonic balancer - the bolts screwed into the holes for a puller. What it was off of, I have no clue... But that's the fun in something like this, discovering what works and designing your own stuff.
Ultimately, I had a plan for a custom adapter to bolt the SC right onto the 2.9L, but ended up selling what I had and changed streams.
Edit:
Finding and mounting one isn't even really the hard part - engine management is a big player on this...

I know JP3 used the same (edit: '90 MAF) computer with his twin turbo 2.9L.
