I don't think the truck anti-theft is a problem, cause the old 4d55 2.3 diesel don't have
ecu, or electrical system. This is not a problem for me.
I can even use a push button to start the engine if the key is a problem.
The information I'm looking for is more like if the engine and tranny from a first generation 2.3 turbo diesel ranger will bolt to the engine mount, driveshaft, transfercase,
ect.. of a 3rd or 4th generation 4x4 Ranger.
I can even have a complete 1986 4x4 diesel ranger for parts.
I know it will be very underpowered, but there should be some engine upgrades to help
