Default broken glow plug removle?

ForumRunner_20151008_075629.jpg

As the weathers getting colder now I noticed the truck dont like starting. So I had a look and someone has snaped one of the glow plugs just leaving the thread. Been trying to think of ways to get it out with out drilling and retapping. The ony way I can think is to grind a nut down small enough and weald it to the plug. And try and get it out with a spanner.

Anyone else had this prob and got a simpler way of getting It out.

Sorry for the poor pic not a lot of space in there.

Have you gotten the broken glow plug out? Welding a nut on sounds like a logical approach.
