Default mass airflow sensor mod????

Has any buddy done this just wondering if it works

I have never heard of a mod having to do with a MAF...

I replaced mine with a 90mm setup - gained all sorts of HP.























That horsepower 'might' have been due to the supercharger mod that was related to it though.

The only MAF sensor mod I know is CLEANING IT. Yes, it works wonders. Make sure you use cleaner made specifically for MAF sensors and nothing else.

The only reason you would ever need to upgrade the MAF is if you were doing it as a supporting modification that would go along with a pretty serious power adder, whatever it may be. The only thing you could really do is swap the MAF housing to a larger diameter, which would change the sensors calibration, requiring a reflash or a custom tune to compensate.

simply doing a larger dia. MAF, with supporting software changes would do NOTHING for performance without other core power adders/modifications.

ok thanxs guys just wondering read sum were you go from 14lb injectors to 19lb ones and get another maf and drill it out to change the fuel to air curve but i probly wont try it

Did it awhile back, 19lb injectors helped a tiny bit but drilling out the maf feed tube did nothing.
