Crotch rockets aren'y my thing either, I do love how fast they are, and the look, just not the whine. So, I got myself a Ducati Monster. All the street bike performance but with a damn loud rumble. I love it!

Well I am sure that thing does have a nice rumble to it. Yeah, I am looking at getting a Honda Shadow Spirit 750. I think that would be a good starter for me.

I owned a HD night rod special for over a year, but I had to sell it because of financial trouble.

I loved that bike, I've rode other HDs and nothing compares to how it feels. Its such a beast on wheels! If its your first bike, it might be too much to handle your first time out. If you never rode before look into something cheap since you dont want to "practice" on a $15+K bike. If you drop a $3k bike you wont really care much and you will own it faster, giving you a lot of room to save for the bike you want after a year or so of riding. Make sure you do the safety certificate riding courses so your insurance is lower as well, especially if youre under 30 since insurance companies will charge you a couple grand a year just on the bike!

Its kinda like a ranger new it was $7800.00 out the door Its old tech but the ultimate in tough. The sport bike guys may get there a little faster but I have the lunches and drinks in my saddle bags so they wait foe me Randy

I ride a '87 Suzuki Intruder. Looking to get a new bike though. Tired of "old bike" problems.

I've wanted a bike for years and I will finally be able to get one this summer. Last my dad just bought an 83 Honda Goldwing for $400 that I hope he sells cuz he said something about I might ride that. I really don't feel like riding an old man bike. I would really like to get a older Honda Shadow though.

I'm into cruisers, looking at a Victory probably this year or next. I had a 71 Harley Sportster, electrical POS, but it was fun and loud as hell when I had it running. Suicide shift had to go though lol I love crotch rockets and sport bikes but just not comfy for me after awhile and I like comfort. Then I looked at some enduros too

I wish I was riding a VTX 1800N. But for now, I'll settle for the John Deere 100-series. lol. I'd loooove to find me a GL1000 Goldwing to restore someday. I bleed redwings, yo! First ride I drove was a '85 GL1200 Limited Wing....hooked from the first ride.



So I leave you with my dream....my uncles old VTX 1800N. He goes through bikes like crazy. lol.

yeah its great, it is my first bike too. Not too pricey either, everyone thinks ducatis are crazy expensive, mine is the same as a sportster, about 9K

great first bike too, not too powerful, and only weighs 365 lbs or something.
