I work for a law enforcement agency for the dispatch center. Trying to get hired into a sworn position though. Dispatch blows.

I have my BA in crim, what force are you thinking about? I've been debating the air force, you can go right into being an officer if you have a degree. Pay is pretty decent too for an entry level.

Looking into city police, county sheriff, or really interested in forest service park ranger. sorry for the vagueness. The air force sounds legit though, but not something i am interested in personally.

Go for city police, they generally get paid more and don't have to deal with as much political BS. I never thought air force would be my thing either but after dealing with the BS of county agencies it's starting to sound pretty appealing.

Thanks for the advice! Ideally i would like to be in a smaller city. Ive seen they get paid more and that is appealing to me so hopefully i can get into that right away. I had a cousin who was in the air force... not sure what he is doing now but he was in for at least 20 years. he loved it.
