Default Some detailing work- Hemi content

My neighbor always comments on how well I take care of my trucks so he asked me to detail his wife's 2007 Hemi Charger R/T. Paint was a mess, the front fascia is bad from the bugs, too deep to fix with the tools I have but I took a crack at it. Took me 9 hours to get it done though.

Heres just a few of my weapons

The car...

This was the worst part, she ran down the side of their garage and swapped paint. This took some time and a heavy compound to get off.

Headlights were a mess

As was the interior

Polishing the headlights

Pulled the wheels to get in the wheel wells, they were caked with some kind of rusty crud, was a bitch to get off.

Here are the afters. Good thorough interior scrub down, the leather was really dirty, the black carpets were really bad, she cleaned up nice though.

Exterior after. Wash, claybar, rubbed out a few spots, polish the whole car then wax. Overall it came out well, she was very happy.

Im not a Dodge fan but this is actually a really nice car, has plenty of power thats for sure.

There was some money exchanged but I didnt charge him what it was worth. He's a great neighbor and would give me the shirt off his back so I was happy to do it. I really only do this stuff for myself and good friends.

Yeah. Gotta be cool with the neighbors. Got one that I'm always doing little favors for (at least I consider them minor, he doesn't). Hooking up his sump pump, adjusting the brakes on his box truck (and rewiring the box), getting his lawn mower running, etc. He'll slip me a $20 now and then and its cool because every once in a while I find a favor he can do for me. (but I'm self reliant to the extreme and I've had to invent a couple just to keep the ledger even)

Yeah Im kind of this neighbor's handyman too. He's pretty capable usually but Im always his tech support. lol It goes both ways though, he's always over helping me with grunt work and stuff. Its great to have good neighbors, I feel pretty lucky.
