The ranger doesn't matter but I usually back in or pull thru in my power wagon.

The ranger is like a tall go kart.

I cheat. I have enough room in the driveway to turn around, and at work I park at the far end of a 18 car lot with 5 cars in it.

But backing out of a space in most lots scares the crap out of me. So i park far away from the entrance with empty spaces all around if I can. I'd rather walk then get clipped.

I love this theory hahaha

I wish I could back into my spot at work but they are diagonal spots in the wrong direction and its too narrow to maneuver. So I got good at driving backwards so I can leave quickly during the lunch break haha
Back out of my spot, down the parking lot, and whip around next to the dumpster and I'm on my way

except for the days when I get a spot next to the building. Then I'm overly prepared for that ambush..

I find backing up into spots extremely easy especially with my truck and my blind spot mirrors. I usually back into spots too I think it's easier

I always back into a parking spot. I'm pro with the Mustang...could use a little work with the Ranger though.

I can back a truck up into a space better than any car I've driven. The CC I went to would ticket you if you backed into or pulled through a a spot.

the last company i worked for would fire you for not backing into slots in their parking lot. i think they gave you three 'strikes' before firing though.
Same went for honking before backing up...

so for backing into a parking spot:

1. slow to a stop in preparation for backing into spot.
2. honk horn (after full stop)
3. shift to reverse & begin backing

lol failure to do this 3 times & your gone

Thats a hell of a way to get people to learn how to park haha. Its easier for me to back in, I know I'm all the way in when my tires hit the curb or my rear bumper hits the wall/pole, i mean, you have a bumper for a reason right??
The best was with my old truck, I would back up until the hitch would hit whatever wall was behind me, its a truck, it can take it haha
