I'll just get me some paper targets instead of spray paint.

I have real targets, but when I go up to Mi to hunt i dont bring them. I steal one of my boss' bails of hay and wrap them with plastic suran wrap And then put paper targets up. The plastic slows down the arrows tremendously.

Nice. I'll see what I can find when I go look for a bow.

Sorry if I kinda came off as an ass about your targets. I make targets for a living and am extremely confident in my work. A bale of hay has worked for many people for years. Newer bows won't be stopped by them for too long though. The plastic wrap on the outside will slow the arrow down like someone said. Haha but I still have to rep my company.. (Go BIGshot targets)

No not yet. I'm just now learning that a good compound bow is about as expensive as a crossbow these days. I still haven't had much time to look. My fuel operation has pretty much kept me extremely busy.

That's no problem. I still haven't really had time to look just yet.

It's also alot more accurate. I'll have to try one out because I don't even know if I can use a recurve now due to my back problems. But it's for sure at the top of the list. That's also the reason I considered a crossbow.

I'll have to look. What does a Recurve bow cost these days? I was floored to learn the costs of some of the compound bows that are out there. I was considering Matthew's Archery but they're way too high on their products.

Recurve $250ish range if im correct. But hell my field ready pse stinger was a hell of a deal at cabelas. I bought it when they had buy $500 in stuff get $100 back. Stock my bow was okay, but with the drop away arrow rest and stabilizer it took an 1inch off my groups at 30yrd now I'm the problem..

I personally like to feel/shoot bows before I buy them.
