Default The ghost blind.....

Well after finally deciding to do crossbow hunting, I went online to look and see what was out there in terms of equipment and camo. I got quite a shock from a company called Ghostblind. Here's a video demonstration:

And here's their official website:

This is pretty cool. As far as buying camouflage clothing, I'd rather make my own and use this blind. For making a ghillie suit, I recomend Mossy Oak's break up pre-dyed burlap or their synthetic material. Here's the Ghostblind in action:

Not just ordinary mirrors, but mylar mirrors. These won't crack or break and they're weather resistant. I've dealt with mylar materials before. It's pretty easy stuff to work with.

He'll love it. The only other thing that can even come close to this is a military ghillie suit and they're a pain to deal with. They tend to get too hot, which can be a bad thing in the spring or a hot climate. They're also extremely heavy so mobility becomes an issue. And a true ghillie suit is never finished. This you can take just about anywhere and just set it up and you're good to go. There's no need to add natural vegitation either like you would a ghillie suit.

They're hard to make and they take alot of time to make and you have to condition them as well.
