Re: What was your first car/truck?
my first car was a 1985 impala with the 4.3 liter in that ship took forever to get going. was rusted so bad i could do work on the engine thru the fender. Hit a turkey doing 65 with it in the front pass light and only cost 6 bucks to fix it.
second car was a 1993 for escort lx sedan, beat the ever loving shit outta that one went thru about 4 sets of tires in 35k
and when the escort finially died i bought my car 2006 pontiac grand prix in nov 08 with 36k on it and now it has 118k most of the miles were racked up in the first year
when the girlfriends intrepid POS died i bought the ranger from my aunt 1 owner garage kept(girlfriend drives the GP now) my aunt drove the ranger like an old lady because well she is lol with only 68k on it
and the IMPALA and the Ranger are the only vehicles i havent hit a deer with... total deer count for me is 5 and i've only been driving for 5 years

Re: What was your first car/truck?
1998 Camaro Z28. I had it for less than a year before I sold it for my Ranger.
Next to a Raptor. I was short.

Re: What was your first car/truck?
Well, the first car that I got to drive was a 1990 Chevy Beretta that my parents got at a police auction for $30, put another $1500 into making it road worthy (rebuilt engine and transmission) and then drove it for a good 10 years before handing me the keys. Had my license for two weeks and ended up wrecking the car heading to a party by getting t-boned by one of my own friends heading to the same party, lol! Here is the car after the wreck. Walked away with a torn rotator cuff which I still haven't had fixed:
After that, I didn't get to drive for 3 months (grounded basically, lol) and then I got my first Ranger, which was an 83 with the 2.0 and a 4 speed manual. My parents told me I had to fix it myself (well, my dad told me that, but he ended up helping me anyway) and I could have it. In the mean time, I was driving my sisters 4Runner for my last year of high school (87 with the 22RE, 5 speed, etc.). That was a nice rig with like 260,000 miles on it. Here's a couple pictures of those:
Don't mind the porta-potty. This was back when my dad had a small engine repair business and we were working out of the garage.
And then after High school, I fixed the Ranger and the next day traded it for an XJ Wagoneer whcih I had for about two years. A year after I got the Jeep, I went and bought the current Ranger, and the rest is history. Now I got the Chevy and the Ranger and will probably stick with that combo until I'm rich and famous and can finally buy my Bentley.

Re: What was your first car/truck?
1985 Dodge Diplomat w/ 318 LA V8. I had many plans for the car, but unfortunately someone totaled it seven times over. Black Sheep anyone?
After I lost the Diplomat I bought my '96 Ford Ranger and this 1975 Ford LTD powered by a Cleveland 351 V8 (I love big old cars). The LTD was my toy until I bought this last fall...
My 1965 Pontiac LeMans w/ a Pontiac 326 small-block V8. I've already invested a couple thousand. Pushing about 360 HP to the wheels (still not done). And don't worry, I still have the Ranger!

Re: What was your first car/truck?
And I still drive her today, it started off as mine, then it went to my dad for a while cause I needed a car with better gas mileage so we just traded, and then I got her back when I wrecked his car lol.
